WHO WE ARE?
Ujala Welfare Society Ghourghushti is a non-profit charitable organization registered since 2005. We execute emergency relief operations during or after natural or man-made disasters, we also work on long-term healthcare programs, community support and education & poverty alleviation programs. It all started with few kind-hearted men sitting together in the Ghourghushti village with an intention to help the less fortunate in the community, especially by providing for an effective ambulance service to those in need. In 2004, the society was established with the consent of the local people. After receiving their assurance & affirmation of intend to help the needy brethren, it made things easier to assemble and get started for this great cause. We launched our operations by putting our first ambulance to work, thus providing a new service to the locals of Ghourghushti.
Ujala Welfare is a non-political and non-profit organization. It follows hundred percent donation policies. In order to deal with administrative expenses, assets have been made.
Ujala welfare society is well known for its welfare aspirations and unconditional services of the people in the Ghourghushti and surrounding villages. It does not need any introduction but we need to put into writing the establishment and aims of this society so that the forth coming generations when they read the history of the society would be familiar with its history, services, location and achievements.
Ujala welfare society has been helping people in this area of Ghourghushti for a long period of time now. It was established in June 2004. Since then, it is committed to serving the people of this area. Soon after that their services were extended to surrounding areas as well. Within a short span of one year only, it was registered with the Social Welfare Office Attock in 2005. Welfare society is not only just a name but a whole mission. Its main objective is to help the poor, less fortunate and deserving people and provide them with the basic amenities of life. Ujala desires to guide those people who use their charity, donations pompously, guiding them to utilize this amount in a more effective way by helping the poor in an organized manner. Members of the society are truthful, honest, dedicated and working voluntarily without any salary.

- The funds are delivered to the deserving people, respecting their privacy and dignity without any recommendations.
- The donor’s data & records are maintained on our database so that it becomes easy both for the organization and donors to collect funds in times of need, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- The funds collected for Zakat and Sadqat (charity) are organized separately. For this, two separate bank accounts are being used and distribute the funds accordingly.
- Ujala Welfare UK is working for the welfare of the society without any discrimination, only for humanitarian purposes and has no connection to any political organization.
The terms and condition (T & C) to have our enrollment are
- the individual ought to be 18 years of age or above,
- he/she isn’t associated with any suspicious activity,
- is liberated from political predisposition, and
- has the soul of being committed to the philanthropic administrations.
